Most of the flows in the nature are made over mobile beds. On the other hand, the phenomenon of overtopping flow on. embankments it is important because of the potential for failure. This research investigates the noncohesive embankment breach by two-dimensional numerical simulation. The governing equations of the present model are the shallow water and Exner equations. The finite volume method is used to discretization of equations. The mesh is structured. Fluxes at the control volume interfaces are computed by using the first order HLLE approximately. The results show that the present model can be used for shock capturing and flow modeling over mobile bed.
